Pearls are one of the most intriguing gems! They are neither cut nor polished when removed from the mussel. Each strand is hand selected for uniformity in color, size and shape. The pearls are than strung on a silk cord which is knotted after each pearl is in place. This single knot protects the pearls from damaging one another.
