I adore this ring! I originally fell in love with a tension setting, but couldn`t rationalize my fiance spending so much for the tension setting, I found this and it it perfect! It looks even better in person. It`s left a lot of people baffled as to how it is set, and I`ve received a lot of complements.

I ordered this setting with a 3/4 carat G color VS2 diamond. I wanted a high-quality diamond, and I thought this was one of the most unique settings I had seen, so I decided to get it. If you like the modern design of the ring, it looks as great in person as it does on the website. James Allen`s customer service representatives were also very helpful when I had questions about my order, and are available anytime with the chat feature (which is helpful because I`m a graduate student and don`t have much free time). I`m planning on proposing in about a month, and I hope she likes the ring as much as I do.

I was a little worried that the diamond would fall out when I was considering this ring, and I called James Allen to voice my concern about the setting. The rep assured me that the diamond is set just as securely as any other setting. I went ahead and ordered it and when it arrived, I was very impressed by the security of the construction - it feels like the whole ring is made out of one piece of metal, not two. I proposed last week and the ring has been a huge success not just with her but with her family and friends as well.
