I recently got this band as an "early Christmas gift," and I love it. Indeed, it does have a very "antique" feel to it. At first, I didn`t like the milgrain design, as I thought it was distracting, and made it harder to see the smaller diamonds. But the more I wore it, the more it grew on me. The first day I wore it, I received many compliments. The setting portion sits very high on my finger (the center is highest and tapers out at the shoulder of the shank), and doesn`t quite fit well against my solitaire stone ring, or bigger bands. Would recommend wearing alone or with smaller bands.
