iPhone 3GS Sells For Nearly 2 Million Pounds

Being filthy rich definitely has its perks. First-class flights, penthouse suites, fancy cars, and gold and diamond encrusted iPhones. That`s right… an iPhone that carries a hefty  £1.92 million price tag.

The iPhone 3GS Supreme, designed by Stuart Hughes, is the most expensive iPhone ever. The Liverpool-based company is known for its lavish customizations of high-end luxury gadgets. The mega-expensive iPhone was apparently commissioned by a rich Australian with a gold mine fortune, and took 10 months to bring to fruition.

The iPhone 3GS boasts 271 grams of 22 carat solid gold and 136 flawless diamonds, color F, worth 68 carats. The apple logo on the rear side of the phone is made of solid gold and is surrounded by 53 flawless diamonds adding up to 1 carat. The navigation buttion on the front of the phone is specifically crafted with a single cut rare diamond weighing 7.1 carats. The chest that encases the iPhone is made from a single block of Granite, in Kashmir gold, and lined with leather.

If iPhone is a status symbol, then the iPhone 3GS is king.
