The American Gem Society is turning 10 and to celebrate they will sponsor the 2006 President`s Gala dinner dance at the close of the 67th Annual American Gem Society`s Conclave on April 29. The Conclave program is being held at the Doubletree Hotel in Orlando, FL. This event will be attended by jewelry designers, manufacturers, retailers and gemological educators. Peter Yantzer, executive director of AGS Laboratories helped to open the lab in 1996 and says "It`s been an amazing 10 years." He also says " AGS Laboratories shares the same commitment of consumer protection and dedication to the highest standards of ethics and business practices as the American Gem Society." "We`re proud of our use of the AGS diamond grading standards adn teh synergy between the two organizations. We could think of no better way to celebrate our 10-year anniversary."
