This past Valentine`s Day, Josh Li and Ya Ting exchanged wedding rings in the first ever marriage ceremony held at an Apple Store. The event - which took place in New York`s Fifth Avenue Apple Store - was officiated by a man dressed as Steve Jobs, who read the couple their vows from an iPhone.
Why did Li and Ting decide to marry at an Apple Store? "We got to know each other because Ting was looking to buy an iPod...and I managed to strike up a conversation that way," Josh explained to Entertainment Weekly. "I used to joke that the Apple Store is my church because I am not religious, and I loved everything Apple," he elaborated. "Ting then came up with the idea of having the wedding there."
The wedding rings were carried on a 1st generation iPod and Ting`s vows were written on a card that said: "I love you more than this," which was followed by a picture of an iPhone.
Steve Job`s famous words were also incorporated into the odd ceremony: "You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."
The cutest part of this entire story? Upon exchanging vows and rings, the couple said "iDo."
