Alexander Shuravin, General Director of Belgeologia says that Belarus many have deposits of diamonds, gold, amber and titanium-magnesium ore. This is based on aero magnetic surveys performed on the southern part of Belarus a few years ago. Minerals were found which included associates of diamonds and selected diamond impregnations, confirming the possibility that there are diamond pipes. The areas of Zhlovin and Dobroush in the Gomel region are the likely places for these diamond pipes. They are very excited in Belarus!
