A 603 carat white diamond, the largest find this century, was recovered at the Letseng diamond mine in Lesotho. This is the 15th largest diamond ever mined. The diamond has been given the highest color grading of `D`. Prior to this find, the `Lesotho Brown` at 601 carats had been the largest stone found at Letseng diamond mine.Says Lesotho`s Minister of Natural Resources, Dr. Khaketla, "We are proud that a Lesotho diamond has made history for a second time.
