Tonight is the big night! Ashley Herbert, this year’s Bachelorette, will finally pick her man and hopefully future husband. Either Ben Flajnik or J.P Rosenbaum will get down on his knees, read some overly sentimental proposal off a teleprompter and present Ashley with a stunning diamond engagement ring.
It’s been tough road for Ashley so far. Last season she was dumped by Bachelor Brad Womack just days before the finale. Despite their strong feelings for each other, Ashley and brad could not resolve their communication and trust issues. Although Ashley never admitted to being in love with Brad, she definitely fell hard.
Unfortunately, this season hasn’t been any better for the Ashley. Over the past few weeks, Ashley has been roasted by multiple Bachelors and toyed with by nasty contestant Bentley Williams. But now it’s down to the final two and Ashley is hoping that one of the finalists is her soul mate. After a season of drama, tears and scripted surprises, it’s about time the Madawaska native finds true love.
Take a look at the two men vying for Ashley’s heart:
Ben Flajnik: A wine maker and internet advertiser who lives in San Diego, California. Ben attended the University of Arizona and is currently studying winemaking at UC Davis. Ben enjoys playing soccer and even won a state championship. Ashley seems to feel comfortable around Ben, always laughing and having fun. Last week she revealed that she is falling in love with Ben.
J.P Rosenbaum: A construction manager from NYC. J.P says his worst attributes include being stubborn and impatient. He loves the Fourth of July and has spent time traveling in Australia, exploring the country and people. J.P often references his last breakup, explaining that it left him heartbroken and vulnerable. While in Fiji, Ashley said that J.P makes her want to smile forever and referred to him as “her rock” throughout the season. Ashley also admitted J.P was the best kisser of the bunch.
Wow, this is going to be a tough decision!
Who do you think it will be? Who will get the final rose?
