Ricki Lake is in-shape and ready to talk about her upcoming wedding plans! Lake became engaged to Christian Evans last August while they were vacationing in Spain. After dating for a year, Evans presented Lake with a diamond engagement ring and asked for her hand in marriage.

"Thrilled to share some happy news with you... I'm engaged!" the talk-show host, actress, and former Dancing with the Stars contestant wrote at the time. "The cat is out of the bag. Phew! I'm terrible at keeping secrets."

So how is the wedding planning coming along? Is Lake ready for her big day? After months of rigorous dance rehearsals for DWTS, Lake is thinner than ever and ready to walk the aisle.

“I may have found a dress,” Lake told PEOPLE magazine. “I have someone who has been looking for me. It’s vintage.”

And what was the inspiration behind her dream gown?

“I wanted something simple, on the bias, and flattering. It’s got a lot of detail. It’s very pretty. I’m not going to say any more yet because I haven’t even seen it firsthand, I’ve just seen a picture!”

As far as the rest of the planning, the Hairspray star says the couple needs some time.

“We are just starting to talk about it. Next weekend we’re going away together and we’re going to try to start figuring out what we’re doing. Then we’re going to Paris on holiday for two weeks and then we’ll start planning. But it’s going to be soon. It might even be a destination wedding,” she revealed.

One thing is certain— Lake is going to make her wedding unique. “We’re going to be very non-traditional in every way. We’re going to do something that is right for us and not what everyone else does. It’s going to be a unique experience.”

More than anything, though, Lake can’t wait to spend the rest of her life with her second half. Aww…how romantic!
