Actress Mena Suvari, best known for her role in the films American Beauty and American Pie, is ending her 18 month marriage to Simone Sestitio. Court papers indicate that the couple have been officially separated since November 1, 2011.

Divorce papers have already been filed in L.A. County Superior Court. Sources say Suvari has cited "irreconcilable differences" and has also requested that Sestito, a music producer and concert promoter, receive no spousal support.

The divorce is Suvari’s second—her first husband is the German cinematographer Robert Brinkmann, who is seventeen years her senior, whom she divorced in 2005.

“I want at least two children… Who knows, I might end up having five and being this crazy woman with all these children,” Mena Suvari told PEOPLE magazine in 2011. Despite her sentiments on motherhood, neither Suvari nor Sestito currently have any children.

Suvari, 32, and Sestito, 25, met at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2007, while Suvari was promoting her film Stuck. Sestito proposed to Suvari in 2008 while the two were on holiday in Jamaica with a custom-designed platinum, 3 stone, cushion cut, 8.6 carat engagement ring. The couple wed in a romantic ceremony in Vatican City, Italy in 2010—Sestito is of part-Italian descent and the location was chosen to accommodate his Italian relatives.

Suvari will appear in American Reunion, the upcoming eighth installment of the American Pie film series. In addition to her acting, Suvari also models for Lancome cosmetics.
