Seems like just yesterday Kristin Cavallari was showing off her three-carat Asscher cut style diamond ring given to her by fiance Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. But Saturday night Cavallari was spotted without her sizeable sparkler. What’s going on? Where is Cavallari’s engagement ring?

According to sources close to the former MTV star, Cavallari and Cutler have called off their engagement and upcoming wedding after 10 months together.

"She got dumped," a friend of Cavallari told PEOPLE. "She's absolutely devastated. She can't believe this is happening. She was hanging out at a table with Nicky Hilton and Alessandra Ambrosio," the source confirmed. "She was telling friends how they called off the engagement."

This is so sad! What went wrong? Just a few days ago Cavallari was having a blast at her engagement party, getting ready for the big day.

”Thx to all my amazing friends for making my engagement party a blast last night!" Cavallari tweeted after the party.

"She was planning her dream wedding, the date was set, the location – everything was set," her friend said. "She's in shock that the dream wedding she was planning is going to end this way."

Cavallari had even set up her wedding registry and began a serious work out diet and workout regimen in preparation for her walk down the aisle.
