How is Kris Humphries doing since his 72-day marriage to reality star Kim Kardashian?

Surprisingly, not that bad! It looks as though the 6-ft.-9-in. power forward has found himself another love. And no, it’s not a new girl! Humphries is reuniting with former flame, the New Jersey Nets.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Humphries, 26, just re-signed with the Nets, the same team for which he played last year, for another season. Last season, Humphries averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds per game. The new contract is reportedly for one year and a whopping $8 million!

Between his $10 million dollar televised wedding extravaganza and his unexpected divorce, the NBA star has had quite the year.  He recently told Good Morning America that all he wants is to put the traumatic even behind him.

"Through everything, I'm just focused on family and preparing for basketball…For me, it's just, certain things happen in life and you've got to move forward. I'm excited to be where I'm at right now, with the NBA season coming up," he said. 

Still no word on whether Kardashian will back her $2 million, 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring. At this point, we wonder if Humphries even cares. If there is anything this wedding-divorce hullabaloo has taught us, it’s that money doesn’t buy or secure love.
