Surprisingly, Kim Kardashian has remained calm throughout her entire wedding planning process. According to her mother, Kris Jenner, Kim is anything but a bridezilla.

"She’s very calm," Jenner told PEOPLE. "It's just her personality. She knows what she wants and she's very focused on the day and is just enjoying the process."

Even while running around from dress fittings to last minute meeting, Jenner insists Kim is cool and totally composed. "She's doing great, and I think that any mom just feels happy when their child finds the person they want to be with for the rest of their lives. That's a big step," said Jenner.

According to younger sister Kourtney, Kim even picked a calm color for her bridesmaids. Kourtney tweeted that Kim’s bridesmaids will be wearing green gowns as they walk down the aisle. Green is generally a soothing color with gentle and restful vibes. Kim’s choice to have her bridesmaids wear this relaxing color is clearly a reflection of her calm pre-wedding energy.    

So what is the secret to Kim’s relaxed demeanor?

Kim makes sure to not get overwhelmed with all the details and remember what the day is really about. She is so in love with fiancé Kris Humphries and wants to make sure the focus remains on their love as opposed to materialistic things like centerpieces and flowers.

This isn’t to say Kim isn’t super excited for her upcoming glamorous event. On August 13 she shared her excitement with her fans on twitter: “OMGGGG my wedding is a week away!!!!” This is so crazy! I’m so happy!” The reality star’s wedding will air later this year in a special on E!”
