Kim Kardashian, who recently made headlines for filing for divorce just 72 after her marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries, met with the estranged Humphries over the weekend in his house in Minnesota. Sources say the purpose of the counseling was to get closure about their failed marriage. Others say the dialogs were meant to help the couple leave the door open for patching up the relationship. Joel Johnson, the pastor who married Kardashian and Humphries, accompanied Kardashian to Humphries’ house and conducted the counseling sessions. The meeting represented the first real talks Kardashian has had with Humphries since they parted ways.

Karadashian looked fatigued and wiped out as she arrived back to her hometown of LA, after the talk sessions in Minnesota.  Sources say Kardashian is very conflicted over the divorce. Kardashin was photographed pacing around anxiously as she made private phone calls outside of Humphries’ home. The contents of those phone calls still remain a mystery and may be the key to unlocking the secrets of the failed marriage.

It's still too early to claim that the counseling sessions are a sign of reconciliation, however, and insiders say that Kim will not be shooting any more footage for Keeping Up with the Kardashians this year, because she does not want to exploit her divorce dramas on television.

Humphries was hoping to get the 20.5 carat engagement ring back from his wife, but Kris Jenner, Kim’s mom, says that Kim will be keeping her $2 million engagement ring. “It’s a gift. You keep a gift,” said Kris Jenner on Good Morning America while promoting her new memoir.

Jenner hopes her daughter will recover soon from the pain of the separation. “Kim's dream [is] to get married and have babies, and raise a family. That’s all she’s ever wanted,” said Jenner.
