Audrina Patridge used to be all about dating drama. The Hills followed Partridge’s drama with Justin Bobby, Corey Bohan, and a million other sexy suitors. These days, however, the former MTV star seems to have mellowed out. She’s been going steady with beau Corey Bohan for quite some time. Will Patridge and Bohan be getting engaged anytime soon?

"Now things are good," the 26-year-old told PEOPLE of her one-time rocky relationship with Bohan.

Why the sudden change? What’s different about their courtship this time around?

Well for one thing, the cameras are off.  
"Filming a reality show really takes a toll on relationships because your mindset is to create good TV," Patridge said. "It's hard on relationships, so after the show, Corey and I really worked on what was going on with us. We spent time together."

It’s been a rough road for Patridge and Bohan who last broke up on the finale of Patridge’s reality show Audrina. At the time Patridge explained that the breakup was a "was a long time coming."
 
After the split, Patridge took some time off, away from the limelight.
"I took five to six months off to just relax...With seven straight years of filming, I didn't really get time to organize my house or do things for myself, so I just took some time off. I moved to the beach," Patridge shared.

But now the reality star turned entrepreneur is back from her hiatus and ready to conquer Hollywood.
"I'm back again, refreshed and not burnt out…I know I've been kind of laying low lately, but next year I'm really looking forward to working and getting back out there. I have some really great projects I'm working on," she told PEOPLE.

What do Patridge and Bohan have planned for the holidays?

"I haven't picked out any holiday gifts for him yet, but I am throwing him a little birthday party before he leaves to go back to Australia," Patridge said. "It'll be fun. He knows about it, but there are some surprises he doesn't know about. I'm still going to get him a gift for Christmas, but I haven’t even started shopping yet. It's going to be last minute this year."
