Here`s some truly shocking news: Stephanie Pratt, an actress on the reality show `The Hills`, was arrested early Sunday morning for driving under the influence…. actually, maybe not that shocking.

Stephanie was arrested around 3:45 am. She and a number of her `Hills` co-stars spent the night before celebrating her sister-in-law, Holly Montag`s 26th birthday. Stephanie`s brother, Spencer Pratt, exchanged wedding rings with Holly`s sister, Heidi, less than a year ago.

Earlier in the evening, Pratt tweeted that she was at Holly`s birthday party, enjoying dinner, and was on her way to `Empire` in Los Angeles. She also stated she was tired.

After partying at `Empire`, Stephanie and Holly supposedly went to `Beso` around 2 am. They hung out until 3 am and then parted ways.

Unfortunately, Pratt got in her own car and decided to drive home. She was pulled over when an officer spotted her. The actress was cooperative with the police and didn`t make a fuss.

After the arrest, Stephanie was taken to the Van Nuys jail and was booked on a misdemeanor charge. Then at about 10:30am later that morning, she was released on a $5,000 bail.

This isn`t Stephanie`s first arrest. In May 2006, she was arrested for shoplifting. She has also revealed substance abuse problems in the past.
