Which Hollywood couples do you think will soon tie the knot? Katherine McPhee, the American Idol darling announced in November that she was engaged to Nick Cokas, an actor who encouraged Katherine to appear on that extremely popular talent show. Sporting a giant sparkler, the 23 year old McPhee is 19 years younger than Mr. Cokas, but age hasn`t stopped a number of odd couples from hooking up through the years.
Rumors are flying and the truth isn`t so easy to uncover, but over the next several weeks some lovely lady will be flashing her diamond engagement ring for all of the world to see. Let`s see which Hollywood couples are likely to announce their wedding plans in the very near future.
The Dallas Cowboys` superstar quarterback Tony Romo has had his eye on Jessica Simpson for some time now. As some reports indicate, Romo has ditched his most recent flame, Sophia Bush, and is more than simply interested in Simpson. He has the NFL contract to cover her with diamonds, but will Dallas management let him get too distracted before the playoffs begin?
They`ve announced it or, as some paparazzi have revealed from the prying eye of the camera, Jennifer Love Hewitt is engaged to the Scottish actor, Ross McCall. Someone snapped a shot of the smiling couple, fixating on her ring finger which didn`t reveal a hunk of jewelry, rather a quaint ring that has been in the McCall family for more than a century. Hewitt snagged a traditionalist in McCall and the couple is expected to announce wedding plans any day now.
Despite telling Oprah that marriage isn`t necessary, Halle Berry is expected to eventually wed Gabriel Aubry, but probably not until after their baby is born this winter. Berry`s comments to Oprah raised nary a stir, but Aubry apparently would prefer marriage over the domestic partnership arrangement they currently have. Look for Berry to be wearing a big piece of glittering jewelry right after their child is born.
Shooter Jennings, son of the late country superstar Waylon Jennings, recently became a father thanks to his relationship with Drea de Matteo from The Sopranos. The couple has been together for six years and has long been expected to marry. As is the case with some Hollywood relationships, marriage comes after the first, second or third child is born – if ever!
Although Christmas and the New Year are the prime holidays for certain people to announce their wedding plans, Hollywood couples seem to get engaged at any time. Whether these engagements get as far as the church altar is anyone`s guess, so keep an eye on her ring finger for the current status of their relationship.
