On the Monday night episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate Gosselin answered "any and all reasonable questions" directed at her. As usual, she had quite a lot to say. Here`s a taste:
Kate rejected allegations that she and Jon staged their renewal vows in Hawaii. In regards to exchanging wedding rings with someone in the future, Kate left the door open, but said it would be a difficult prospect. "To be honest, I don't know. I really don't want to be married again, but I don't want to be alone. The alone-ness is really alone."
She also claimed her kids were happy and okay to be on the show. "They're not suffering from this," she said. "The fact that they have these different experiences they need to handle is only going to help them in life."
She also said she wants to stay in the limelight after her shows goes off the air: "I've done enough years on TV that I feel like it's a normal, comfortable, natural place to be," she said. "I'd love to be in a movie at some point, I'd love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun."
When asked if she is ever pushed over the edge by the madness of raising eight kids while dealing with an ugly divorce, Kate answered truthfully. "Hello, have you seen our show? Yes, I do flip out."
As for the family's dogs, which were returned to a trainer in September, Kate said she needed to get rid of them temporarily because she had too much on her plate. However, she did leave the door open to having them return when things calm down. "I knew the dogs needed more than I could give them. Are they gone forever? I'm hoping not."
