American Idol contestants just can’t get enough of love and marriage!
First Danny Gokey gives his girlfriend an engagement ring. Then James Durbin gets married. What’s next?!

On New Year's Eve, former Idol contender, Durbin, exchanged vows with longtime girlfriend Heidi Lowe. The couple, who met before Idol, said "I do" in an intimate ceremony in a redwood forest in the Mountains of Santa Cruz.  85 close friends and family joined celebration, including fellow Season 10 contestants Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart and Stefano Langone. The couple’s 2-year-old son, Hunter, walked down the aisle carrying the rings.

"We are so in love and happy that we got to share our special day with our closest family and friends,” the newlyweds told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview. "This wedding was the perfect way to kick off the New Year. We are looking forward to living happily ever after."

Durbin and Lowe continued the celebration with a party at a local community hall. The theme? A "little bit country, little bit rock 'n roll."

Geoff Tate, the lead singer of metal band Queensrÿche, surprised the couple with a performance of their favorite tune "Take Hold of the Flame".
