Last night at a Radio Times party, the Australian actress showed off her shimmering engagement ring from billionaire fiancé Nick Candy. Wearing a golden dress almost as sparkly as her diamond ring, the 28-year-old flaunted her rock as she arrived at Claridge's Hotel. She also donned a pair of sequined shoes to match her new piece of jewelry.

Last week rumors buzzed of a broken engagement when Valance was spotted without her engagement ring. The ring however was being fixed and therefore nowhere to be seen.

According to experts at James Allen, Valance's engagement ring appears to be a solitaire diamond on a solid platinum band. Although it is not clear, the diamond looks pear-shape and is presumably over 5 carats.

The couple became engaged a month ago, just a few days before Christmas. Candy, a businessman and property mogul, proposed to Valance in the Maldives, at a $3,000-a-night Reethi Rah resort by writing the words “Will you marry me” in fire.

An ecstatic Valance said yes and immediately uploaded a picture of the engagement onto Twitter. “And I said YES!!! Happiest day of my life!!!!! Xxxx,” Valance tweeted.

Valance also showed her gratitude when she left the resort, tweeting: “Thank you so much Reethi Rah for the most perfect Engagement/Christmas/NYE EVER! They don't call you the "One & Only" 4 nothing! X C U soon!”

Valance and Candy first met at a mutual friend’s party in 2009. A year later they were going steady and moved in together. IN recent month, Candy was seen cheering on his girlfriend from the audience of Strictly Come Dancing.

Congratulations Holly and Nick! Nick- good job picking out the engagement ring! And Holly- we think you are one lucky lady!
