Eva Amurri, Susan Sarandon's daughter, is wearing a wedding ring! The 26 year old actress said "I do" to former MLS soccer player and ESPN commentator Kyle Martino, 30, this past Saturday afternoon. The couple, who have been engaged since December, was married in the groom’s hometown—the charming southern city of Charleston, S.C.
Months ago, when Martino presented Amurri with a stunning round solitaire diamond ring, she couldn’t help but share her joy.
"The most wonderful man on this planet is now my FIANCEE!!!!!!" Amurri tweeted at the time. "What a week: I became a cartoon character, did a Maxim shoot, and got engaged! Lol. Not bad, not bad. Thanks for all the congrats!!"
The black-tie wedding was hosted by Sarandon’s and Tim Robbins, who acted as a father to Amurri during his 21 year relationships with Sarandon. The ceremony was carried out by Sister Helen Prejean. Following the ceremony guests danced, dined and toasted to the excited newlyweds. The wedding was a weekend of celebration including a cocktail party, oyster roast, barbeque rehearsal and of course, a scavenger hunt. (What wedding is complete without a scavenger hunt?!)
Amurri wore an exclusive wedding dress by Lela Rose. “I tried it on and it was over,” she told PEOPLE magazine in a recent interview. Rose also designed dresses for Sarandon and the bridesmaids.
Congratulations Eva and Kyle! May your hearts become one as you as husband and wife.
