Singer Katy Perry was spotted without her wedding ring, and Demi Moore seems to be clinging to hers with dear life, despite rumors of an imminent split with Ashton Kutcher. Like autumn leaves, celebrity relationships change colors and fall in the Fall.
Demi and Ashton have been seen wearing their wedding rings in public, even though they are stepping out separately to media events. It has been reported that Kutcher, 33, cheated on 48-year old Demi with 23-year old Sara Leal. Leal claims that Kutcher told her that he and Demi had split up, although the truth has yet to be sorted out. Demi and Ashton were married in Beverly Hills in 2005. Demi received a platinum, five carat emerald-cut diamond solitaire ring from Ashton that made headlines.
Demi Moore had her ring on at her recent red carpet appearance at the New York City premiere of her new movie, Margin Cell. Ashton wore his wedding band during his recent appearance at Bill Clinton’s Decade of Difference rock concert.
Another ring mystery has just surfaced that involves multi-talented Katy Perry. Perry didn't have her ring on during an ‘X Factor’ performance of her newest song, “The One Who Got Away,” prompting rumors of a breakup from her comedian-husband Russell Brand. Perry’s barren ring finger was a hot, trending toping on Twitter, where fans were tweeting about Perry’s possible breakup and offering condolences. Perry and Russell Brand wed in 2010—Perry’s wedding ring, a wide platinum band with over 100 multicolored diamonds, is said to have cost $75,000 and was chosen for the way it compliments her colorful outfits and ever-changing hair color.
Fortunately, the mystery involving Katy Perry's marriage has been solved. After her ‘X Factor’ gig was over, Perry was seen in public with her wedding ring back on, enjoying a night out on the town with her mother-in-law, putting breakup rumors to rest. As for Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher, the future does not appear to be as clear as a brilliant cut, flawless diamond.
