Real life True Blood couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer  have exchanged wedding rings! The Academy Award-winning star of The Piano and her beau who once appeared in the movie Quills were married on Saturday, August 21 in Malibu. 

Paquin and Moyer tied the knot under a white tent in a villa across the street from the beach. Paquin wore a white halterneck gown with platform shoes, an updo and Neil Lane jewelry.  Moyer sported a dark suit. 

Celebrity guests in attendance included HBO's True Blood creator Alan Ball, co-stars Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley, and Carrie Preston, as well as Elijah Wood, Paquin's co-star for their upcoming movie The Romantics, and her husband, Lost's Michael Emerson.

After the wedding reception, Moyer jumped into the Pacific Ocean in a pair of board shorts!

This the first marriage for Paquin, an actress from New Zealand  while Moyer, hailing from Essex, England, has two children from previous relationships.
The wedding comes after a year-long engagement for the HBO vampire series co-stars who play Sookie Stackhouse and Bill Compton. 

While a slew of stars have received celebrity engagement rings this year, Paquin's ring stands alone in its unique vintage-style.  Paquin received an antique engagement ring with a rustic diamond stone center after Moyer proposed in August 2009.
