Hamburg, Germany – Notoriously private Hollywood legend Robert Redford married his girlfriend of 13 years, Sibylle Szaggars, in an intimate ceremony at the Louis C. Jacob Hotel in Hamburg, Germany.  The couple exchanged wedding rings before only about 30 friends and family, continuing Redford`s preference to keep his private life out of the tabloids.

The bride, a German abstract artist, wore a champagne-colored wedding gown and the groom wore a white suit as they said their vows before Pastor Frank Engelbrecht.  In March, Redford presented his girlfriend with an engagement ring and announced that he would marry a second time, but did not release any further details. 

The couple will continue to live at the actor`s 5,500-acre eco-friendly ranch in Utah, as well as his Sundance resort. 

Famous not only for his acting and his ability to make women swoon, Robert Redford has always preferred to maintain his privacy.  When he and first wife Lola Van Wagenen divorced in 1985, the media could not confirm it for over a decade.  Redford and Van Wagenen have three children.

It is unlikely that many details of the wedding will be made public, but the couple has confirmed that they did, indeed, get married on Saturday.
