The main co-stars of HBO`s successful vampire drama series, `True Blood`, are getting set to exchange wedding rings. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have confirmed they are engaged.
Paquin is sporting a beautiful vintage engagement ring with a rustic diamond stone.
In yet another instance of life mirroring art, the real-life couple also plays a passionate couple on the hit show: Paquin plays the telepathic Sookie Stackhouse, who is in love with vampire Bill Compton, played by Moyer.
New Zealand born Paquin, 27, is a successful film actress. She won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 1994 for her role in `The Piano`, opposite Holly Hunter and Harvey Keitel, when she was only 11 years old.
She also had a prominent role in the blockbuster X-Men franchise, alongside Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry. "True Blood" is her first major Television series and she won a Golden Globe for her performance earlier this year.
Moyer, 39, is from England and has 2 children, 9-year-old son Billy and 7-year-old daughter Lilac, from a previous relationship.
The co-stars have reportedly been dating every since they first met during auditions for the TV series. It took until this past February for the couple to finally decide to reveal their relationship to the public, although Paquin noted the difficulty of keeping it under wraps: "It was the worst kept secret on the planet."
The pair has announced no further details regarding wedding plans.
