Nothing about America Ferrera's engagement or wedding was ugly. In fact, it was just the opposite. The Ugly Betty actress married longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams Monday evening looking gorgeous. According to her rep, Ferrera, 27, wore a "dress by Amsale's Christos label and Fred Leighton earrings." The ceremony took place "an intimate setting amongst close friends and family." Guests included the actress’s Ugly Betty costars, Vanessa Williams, Rebecca Romijn, and Blake Lively.

Ferrera first met Williams at the University of Southern California. Williams, a film student, asked Ferrera to star in his student film, Muertas. In 2010, they also collaborated on Wiliam’s first feature film, The Dry Land. "We kind of connected from the get-go on that professional level and that was something that really drew us to each other," Ferrera told PEOPLE last "a shared passion for what we do and our work."

Williams spoiled his fiancée with a dazzling engagement ring. The director gave Ferrera 2-carat round-cut diamond in a platinum setting, worth an estimated $70,000. That's awfully flashy for a couple who friends say isn’t "one of those flashy couples."

Ferrera, whose series ended last April, is currently guest starring on CBS’s new drama The Good Wife.
