Toy car manufacturer Hot Wheels has brought out a diamond-encrusted car to mark the firm’s 40th year in business.
Renowned jeweler Jason coated the car with $140,000 of diamonds, and also was created to note the manufacture of the company’s 4 billionth toy car.
The car was cast in 18-carat white gold and laid with 2,700 blue diamonds. It also comes with a diamond-encrusted presentation box.
The car’s tail lights feature red rubies, and the tires also are set with diamonds. The distinctive Hot Wheels flame logo underneath the car is lined with black and white diamonds.
The car will be auctioned this year to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters.
