After being together for nearly eight years, Mark Wahlberg, 38, and model Rhea Durham, 31, finally exchanged wedding rings on Saturday, August 1, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills. The ceremony was an intimate affair that lasted only 45 minutes and was attended by the couple’s three children – Ella Rae, Michael, and Brendan Joseph – and twelve close friends and family members. The church was decorated with candles and pink and purple roses. Wahlberg donned a traditional dark suit and white tie and his bride wore a white strapless flowing Marchesa gown with silver embroidery and a Neil Lane diamond-and-platinum cushion-cut engagement ring complemented by a diamond bracelet and earrings. Mark Wahlberg, a successful actor who has appeared in many Hollywood features, including The Departed, The Happening, and Max Payne, is also the executive producer of HBO’s hit series Entourage, a show loosely based upon his experiences as an up-an-coming actor. He is set to star in director Peter Jackson’s adaptation of Alice Sebold’s critically acclaimed bestseller The Lovely Bones, in theaters December 11. Rhea Durham is an American fashion model who has appeared on the cover of several major fashion magazines, including French Vogue, Italian Marie Claire, and British and American ELLE. In 2001, she walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Though the wedding may have been a private event, Wahlberg revealed last October that he and Durham would be wed this August.
