A diamond top designed by diamond firm Dalumi and famous Italian designer Gianfranco Ferre will go up for auction as part of the official opening ceremonies of the Dubai International Jewellery Week on Dec. 12.
The auction will feature members of the royal family of the United Emirates and VIPs. At the event, exhibitors will offer their very best designs and product launches for the first time.
The highlight of this event will be the auction of the Ferre diamond top, which will be auctioned for silent bidding from Dec. 12 8:30 pm until Dec. 15 6 pm.
The top features 905 diamonds mounted in 18K white gold, and is woven with 254 cts. All of the diamonds are G/H color with VS/SI1 clarity. The value of the top is about $1.5 million US.
