Tom Brady And Gisele Bundchen Sued

Tom Brady And Gisele Bundchen Sued

Earlier this year, after New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady exchanged wedding rings with supermodel Gisele Bundchen in Costa Rica, they were photographed by two photographers during the post-wedding party. Now the photographers are suing the couple, claiming they were shot at by their security guards.

The $1 million lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan claims that the photographers suffered physical and mental harm from the attack, despite the fact that they were not actually hit by any bullets.

According to the lawsuit, it is said that Brady and Bundchen hired improperly trained security guards for the celebration. The party took place in April, two months after their wedding, at Bundchen’s Holiday home.

‘AFP’ photographer Yuri Cortez and photographer Rolando Aviles of Costa Rican national daily newspaper ‘Al Dia’ say Bundchen's bodyguards barely missed hitting their heads while they were being fired upon for refusing to give up their cameras and memory cards.

The lawsuit argues that Cortez and Aviles suffered physical injuries and mental anguish from the incident, and that neither of the photographers were paparazzi. Furthermore, it claims that the photographers received authorization from a neighbor of Bundchen to go on their property, where they “discreetly photographed” the party.

According to the lawsuit, while the photographers were returning to their rented car, a bodyguard approached them "in a menacing and threatening manner," demanding Cortez's camera and memory cards. The photographers tried to drive away when they spotted a drawn gun in the hands of one bodyguard. Allegedly a bodyguard fired the gun, shattering the rear window of the rental car.

"The bullet narrowly missed striking the heads of Cortez and Aviles," the lawsuit said.
