Ron Livingston, the sublime actor who stared in Mike Judge’s hysterical comedy Office Space, has exchanged wedding rings with longtime girlfriend, actress Rosemarie DeWitt. According to PEOPLE, Livingston and DeWitt married last Monday, November 2, in a ceremony held in San Francisco. Details surrounding the event have been scarce. Ron and Rosemarie first met on the set of FOX series, Standoff. Although the show was short-lived, the pair decided to go into it for the long haul. They went out for three years before deciding to tie the knot. DeWitt is a regular on Showtime’s The United States of Tara, stared in season 1 of AMC’s Mad Men as Don Draper’s mistress, and appeared on the big screen in Rachel getting Married. Livingston played Carrie Bradshaw’s short-term boyfriend in Sex and the City. His Character, Burger, famously broke up with her on a post-it note. His greatest role was as protagonist Peter Gibbons in Mike Judge’s 1999 comedy Office Space. He played a disgruntled corporate office employee who was subject to the whims of his 8 different bosses and their persistence on submitting accurate ‘TPS Reports’. Furthermore, his crush on a waitress was futile because he didn’t have the courage to ask her out. One day, in the midst of his occupational hypnotherapy, his therapist drops dead while inducing Peter into a trance. The trance makes Peter the most laid-back, care-free man in the world. What happens when his gets back to the office is simply hilarious. Hooray to Ron Livingston for getting exchanging rings with the beautiful Rosemarie DeWitt, and hooray to Ron Livingston for taking part in one of the greatest films of all time. The man is truly a genius.
