Posh jewellery designer Montblanc has just released a set of exclusive watches, selling them as a set of three. The Montblanc Star Eternal set contains three separate watches made with white gold and set with diamonds, presented in a hand-crafted solid wood presentation box. This “Haute Joaillerie” collection is set with a total of more than 1500 Top Wesselton diamonds, with a total weight of ten carats. The Montblanc Star Eternal Lady Diamonds Automatic comes in a white gold case set with 275 round brilliant diamonds. The dial is mother of pearl, and 42 diamonds are set into the bezel. The dial itself is surrounded by 80 diamonds, and has another 218 diamonds the hug the contour of the Montblanc emblem. The inner workings of the watch can be seen through a sapphire glass back. The watch band is made of white satin with an 18 karat white gold buckle. The Montblanc Star Eternal Lady Moonphase Diamonds Automatic takes its predecessor to another level. In addition to the mother of pearl dial and diamond bezel, it has a moonphase display and calendar. 24 brilliant diamonds surround the date display and the signature “Montblanc Diamond”, which is a patented cut of 43 facets in the shape of the Montblanc emblem. This amazing display is surrounded by another 80 diamonds. Another 317 brilliant diamonds adorn the bezel and the 18 karat white gold case. The self-winding mechanism of the Moonphase Diamonds Automatic is designed to maintain accuracy for 122 years. The back of the case features a sapphire glass window shaped like the Montblanc emblem so the watchworks can be seen. The third watch in this exclusive set is the Montblanc Star Eternal Lady Diamonds with the signature Montblanc 4810/103 quartz movement. It, too, has an 18 karat white gold case adorned with 275 diamonds. The watch itself has a bezel with 42 brilliants, with another 80 Top Wesselton brilliants on the flange, and 126 more set onto the mother of pearl dial in the shape of the Montblanc emblem. This watch also comes with a white satin band and 18 karat gold buckle. This unusual set features two watches, the Lady Diamond Automatic and the Lady Moonphase Automatic, which are driven by the traditional Swiss self-winding mechanical movements. The Star Eternal Lady Diamonds watch, however, uses a more modern and precise quartz mechanism. Montblanc’s signature emblem has six arms to symbolize the glacial tongues at the peak of the highest mountain in Europe. For many years, this has been the ultimate representation of European jewellery craftsmanship.
