 Last night, the 2009 Emmys aired, and all the stars came out to shine. The red carpet was lit up with the hottest fashions and the most dazzling jewelry. Kate Walsh, the glamorous 41-year-old star of ‘Private Practice’, looked amazing in a strapless ‘J. Mendel’ dress, with complementary ‘Louis Vuitton’ shoes and an ‘Aldo’ clutch. She also draped herself in luxurious jewels - 18Kt Yellow Gold and Diamond Earrings and Vintage 18Kt Yellow Gold/Platinum and Diamond Bracelet and Cuff Bracelet. Jamie-Lynn Sigler of ‘Entourage’ wore a sexy gold mesh Donna Karan halter gown. The gown actually ripped before the show, but, luckily, her makeup artist managed to sew it back in shape. Heidi Klum showed off her very pregnant baby bump in a strapless, jeweled Marchesa black gown. ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star, Sandra Oh, wore a divine ‘Marchesa’ strapless golden slither with fantastic red shoes, Emmy winner Kristin Chenoweth wore a short dress that sparkled with broken mirrors, Vanessa Williams flaunted a dazzling vibrant turquoise with huge diamond earrings, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus wore a teal outfit by ‘Vera Wang’. ‘House’ actress, Olivia Wilde, wore an asymmetrical, one-shouldered ‘Marchesa’ dress with a bare back, full skirt, and an exposed back zipper. The show was hosted by ‘How I met Your Mother’ star, Neil Patrick Harris. ABC’s ‘Mad Men’ and NBC’s ‘30 Rock’ took home Emmys for best drama and best comedy, respectively, just like last year. "It is an amazing time to work in TV," said ‘Mad Men’ creator Matthew Weiner. "And, I know that everything is changing, but I'm not afraid of it because I feel like all these different media is just more choice and more entertainment. It's better for the viewers in the end and I'm glad to be a part of it." The amazing Alec Baldwin rightfully won best actor in a comedy series.
