 Looks like eHarmony and Jdate has some stiff competition. No, I’m not talking about Match.com or any of the other trillion online dating sites – I’m talking about good old Twitter. It seems that Actress Emmy Rossum met her current boyfriend, Counting Crows singer Adam Duritz, through a Tweet. “I was on tour with the band this summer. They invited me actually on Twitter,” Rossum explained on the radio show Valentine in the Morning this past Thursday. “That's how we met – on a dare. They dared me to come sing with them a song that I'd never sung before … So I ended up on tour with the band, and it was very, very fun.” Their relationship became public this fall after they'd been spotted together on several occasions. Rossum, 23, split from husband Justin Siegel in August, although their marriage wasn’t really known about. Commenting about her privacy, Rossum said “It's hard to have a private life and keep it private and hope that people don't pick you apart.” Regarding her divorce, she says “I'm not asking for anything except freedom so that I can move on to another chapter in my life, and find happiness.” Well, it seems she has indeed found happiness with Adam. Although there are no plans as of yet, the couple could exchange wedding rings soon. Rossum had only nice things to say about 45-year-old Duritz: “I get why chicks dig him. He's extremely kind, incredibly intelligent, thoughtful, creative and respectful."
