 Remember Carrie Prejean? She was the beauty who was relinquished of her Miss California title after sparking some controversy relating to same sex marriage. Well, Prejean has made news again. Over the weekend, Carrie became engaged to St. Louis Rams quarterback Kyle Boller, Carrie’s mother, Francine Coppola, told Access Hollywood. According to Francine, her 22-year-old daughter described the proposal as something right from the movies. Kyle, 28, presented Carrie with a gorgeous 5 carat diamond engagement ring. The pair celebrated their engagement at a Super Bowl party with friends and family in Solana Beach. Carrie is from San Diego and Kyle grew up in Southern California. According to Francine, Carrie is “very excited” about the engagement. The couple has not yet chosen a date to exchange wedding rings. Carrie was previously involved with swimmer Michael Phelps, and Kyle once dated actress Tara Reid. Prejean and Boller began dating last July, around the time she was stripped of her Miss California title for reportedly skipping out on appearances.
