 | Kate Gosselin Wants To Be In Movies
Wed, October 28th 2009, 16:05 EST | | On the Monday night episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate Gosselin answered “any and all reasonable questions” directed at her. As usual, she had quite a lot to say. Here’s a taste:
Kate rejected allegations that she and Jon staged their renewal vows in Hawaii. In regards to exchanging wedding rings with someone in the future, Kate left the door open, but said it would be a difficult prospect. “To be honest, I don't know. I really don't want to be married again, but I don't want to be alone. The alone-ness is really alone.”
She also claimed her kids were happy and okay to be on the show. “They're not suffering from this,” she said. “The fact that they have these different experiences they need to handle is only going to help them in life.”
She also said she wants to stay in the limelight after her shows goes off the air: “I've done enough years on TV that I feel like it's a normal, comfortable, natural place to be,” she said. “I'd love to be in a movie at some point, I'd love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun.” | |
|  | Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss Marries SNL’s Fred Armisen
Tue, October 27th 2009, 14:05 EST | | This past Sunday, Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss exchanged wedding rings with Saturday Night Live funny man Fred Armisen at The Foundry in Long Island City, New York. The ceremony took place in front of friends and family.
In August, the couple mentioned that they wanted a simple, “medium-sized” wedding, and that Moss would be wearing a Claire Pettibone dress. “It was actually the only and first designer I ever wanted,” explained Moss. “I just thought [the dresses] were really beautiful.”
The pair has been engaged since January. It is the first marriage for Moss, 27, and the second marriage for Armisen, 42.
Armisen is best know for portraying President Barack Obama on Saturday Night Live, and Moss is famous for her role as Peggy Olson on AMC’s hit drama, Mad Men, as well as having played first daughter Zoey Bartlet on the NBC television series The West Wing.

|  | $3 Million Fantasy Bra By Victoria’s Secret Coming Soon
Mon, October 26th 2009, 11:19 EST | | Everybody knows that diamonds are a girl’s best friend. And everybody knows that Victoria’s Secret is a guy’s best friend. So, it only makes sense to combine friends and make everyone happy. This season, Victoria’s Secret is unveiling a $3 million fantasy bra, and it features quite an impressive collection of diamonds.
The Fantasy Bra has nearly 2,500 diamonds of various colors, including a huge 16-carat heart-shaped diamond in the middle. The diamonds are colored white, cognac and champagne. The bra, which boasts 150 carats, was designed exclusively for Victoria's Secret by Italian jeweler Damiani and manufactured in Valenza, Italy. It can be worn five ways, including strapless, halter, crossback, one-strap or classic.
Every year Victoria’s Secret includes a novelty bra as part of its fall fashion. Last year’s model was worth $5 million. The 2003 model, which was worth $8 million, was famously worn and broken by Heidi Klum on the Jay Leno Show. However, because the recession, this year’s bra is worth a “mere” $3 million. | |
|  | Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Is Leaving Melrose Place
Sun, October 25th 2009, 08:06 EST | | Pop stars shouldn’t believe that they actually have a chance at being legitimate actors or else they’ll only taste disappointment. Just ask Ashlee Simpson-Wentz if you need evidence. Jessica Simpson’s younger sister is officially leaving ‘Melrose Place’ after her short acting stint.
According to ‘Entertainment Weekly’, Ashlee and her co-star Colin Egglesfield have been cut from the CW drama.
According to executive producer Todd Slavkin, the decision to cut the two actors is part of “the original plan going into the development of the show. We felt that once the murder mystery [involving their characters] was resolved, the tone of the show was going to shift … and [Simpson-Wentz's] character would move on.”
In a statement released after the announcement, Simpson-Wentz said, “Having the chance to play Violet on Melrose Place has been a thrill. Although I always knew her story would come to a final, insanely unpredictable end, playing a creepy, unstable character was something I always wanted to do, so I jumped at the chance. Thanks to the CW and the entire cast and crew of Melrose Place for allowing me this opportunity.”
Simpson-Wentz and Egglesfield took the news “like professionals,” according to Slavkin. “Because they knew ahead of time [that leaving was a possibility], it wasn’t a complete shock.” | |
|  | The Hills' Stephanie Pratt Arrested For DUI
Mon, October 19th 2009, 16:56 EST | | Here’s some truly shocking news: Stephanie Pratt, an actress on the reality show ‘The Hills’, was arrested early Sunday morning for driving under the influence…. actually, maybe not that shocking.
Stephanie was arrested around 3:45 am. She and a number of her ‘Hills’ co-stars spent the night before celebrating her sister-in-law, Holly Montag’s 26th birthday. Stephanie’s brother, Spencer Pratt, exchanged wedding rings with Holly’s sister, Heidi, less than a year ago.
Earlier in the evening, Pratt tweeted that she was at Holly’s birthday party, enjoying dinner, and was on her way to ‘Empire’ in Los Angeles. She also stated she was tired. After partying at ‘Empire’, Stephanie and Holly supposedly went to ‘Beso’ around 2 am. They hung out until 3 am and then parted ways.
Unfortunately, Pratt got in her own car and decided to drive home. She was pulled over when an officer spotted her. The actress was cooperative with the police and didn’t make a fuss. | |
|  | Real Housewife Bethenny Frankel Is Engaged
Sun, October 18th 2009, 15:01 EST | | ‘The Real Housewives Of New York City’ star, Bethenny Frankel, is officially engaged.
Boyfriend Jason Hoppy proposed to Bethenny on October 8, after dating for 11 months. He gave her an 8-carat engagement ring with a 6.5-carat pear shaped center stone flanked by two side stones.
There is no denying Frankel’s excitement: “It feels great, because I'm with the right person. He may be regretting it because it's been beyond a week and he's in panic mode – [but] no, we're enjoying it.”
Hoppy seems to be just fine: “She is very much a handful but one thing she did say to me is she needs a man that can handle her and that I can.”
The proposal was as romantic as they get. After a day of shooting, Frankel arrived home to her Upper East Side apartment to find over a hundred lit votive candles and rose petals strewn all about the apartment. Hoppy got down on one knee and said: “You are the love of my life. Will you marry me?” Frankel’s puppy, Cookie, was dressed in a pink bow and oversaw the entire thing. | |

Thu, October 15th 2009, 12:56 EST | | Good news, ladies. The ‘Sex and the City’ sequel is well underway, and you can expect it to hit theaters next summer. Plus, a new addition is going to spice everything up. Yes, it’s true - Penelope Cruz has joined the cast, so expect some major fun.
Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristen Stewart and Cynthia Nixon, Penelope Cruz and Liza Minnelli are going to be in the film, along with Jason Lewis, reprising his role as Samantha Jones’ ex.
What will Penelope’s character be like? Well, let’s just say Cruz was spotted at the Empire Hotel filming a scene with Chris Noth, and things looked intimate. Could Carrie have her man snatched away from her by Penelope’s sexy character? Only time will tell.
Minnelli also filmed recently for three days. When she was done, she serenaded the cast with a rendition of ‘Every Time I Say Goodbye’.
According to an on-set source, “A total hush fell over the set. You could have heard a pin drop; it was such a moving moment. Everyone had goose bumps, tears. It was a really lovely parting gift she felt like giving everyone.” | |

Tue, October 13rd 2009, 07:48 EST | | Yes, it’s another story about Jon Gosselin. I guess this is why he’s still famous for doing pretty much nothing. This time it has to do with him being Jewish… well, half-Jewish… according to him.
Jon is currently dating Hailey Glassman and has been spending quite some time absorbing her Jewish lifestyle. He has been enjoying it so much, he is even thinking about converting, going so far as to consult a Rabbi.
He recently talked with ‘ParentDish’ about being a Jew: “This is the first year I will celebrate Chanukah. Hailey is Jewish. Everyone in my life is Jewish now, my attorney. I love it. I'm now half Jewish and half Korean. The family values are great. On Christmas, I'll see my kids during the day for a couple of hours.”
Jon is even learning a bit about the Jewish Holidays: “I just went through Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and learned about the New Year and every Friday is the Shabbat dinner. I love challah bread. I'm learning about Jewish food, going to Zabar's. I love that place. I'm learning about kosher and when not to order a bacon, egg and cheese and make an ass of myself. Hailey makes fun of me. My mom came to the city on Yom Kippur and asked where all the traffic was. I got from the West Side to Midtown in five minutes. She wants to come to the city every year on Yom Kippur.” | |

That’s right – ‘Mad Men’ star Christina Hendricks, who plays the curvy, sassy Joan Holloway on AMC’s hit drama, has tied the know with actor Geoffrey Arend at Il Buco restaurant in New York on Sunday, according to PEOPLE.
Hendricks and Arend got engaged earlier this year after being introduced through ‘Mad Men’ costar Vincent Kartheiser, who plays the bratty Pete Campbell on the show.
The couple exchanged platinum wedding bands designed by Tacori. “The rings are simple and lovely – so much like Christina and Geoffrey,” said Tacori rep Michelle Chila. Arend's engraved ring matches Christina’s petite platinum ring with two rows of pave-set diamonds.
When they went ring shopping earlier this year, the duo knew they found a perfect match. “They put the rings on the table and said, ‘Look, they talk to each other. They’re friends,'” adds Chila. | |

According to the magazine, “It's not an engagement ring — but it is a sign they're getting serious.” When Clooney was dating waitress Sarah Larson he publicly stated that he would “never marry,” but now it seems the tide has maybe turned for the actor. In fact, the couple recently moved in together into his California home.
It’s been sixteen years since Clooney ended a difficult marriage to actress Talia Balsam. Most people assumed George would never get married again after the ordeal. However, that didn’t stop the actor from dating several women, many at the same time. In early 2009, there was speculation that he was involved with waitress Lucy Wolvert and also Fatima Bhutto, the granddaughter of a former Pakistan Prime Minister. | |
