Someone snapped a shot of the smiling couple, fixating on her ring finger which didn’t reveal a hunk of jewelry, rather a quaint ring that has been in the McCall family for more than a century. Hewitt snagged a traditionalist in McCall and the couple is expected to announce wedding plans any day now. Despite telling Oprah that marriage isn’t necessary, Halle Berry is expected to eventually wed Gabriel Aubry, but probably not until after their baby is born this winter. Berry’s comments to Oprah raised nary a stir, but Aubry apparently would prefer marriage over the domestic partnership arrangement they currently have. Shooter Jennings, son of the late country superstar Waylon Jennings, recently became a father thanks to his relationship with Drea de Matteo from The Sopranos. The couple has been together for six years and has long been expected to marry. As is the case with some Hollywood relationships, marriage comes after the first, second or third child is born – if ever! Although Christmas and the New Year are the prime holidays for certain people to announce their wedding plans, Hollywood couples seem to get engaged at any time.
