Famed New York jeweler Jacob Arabo designs watches that have been seen on the wrists of world-famous stars, such as Madonna. But since the launch of a watch called The Quenttin – Rose Gold, which costs $75,000 US, they have been on the wish-lists of the world’s most famous stars. The watch is available only at BinHendi Jewellery Stores in Dubai, UAE. To date, only 18 have been released and just three have been sold in UAE. Arabo’s design firm Jacob & Co. was founded by Arabo in New York city in 1981. He worked for jewellery labels and private clients in New York’s Diamond District, then he opened his own business, and began designing products under his own name. Arabo became famous in the entertainment industry when his jewelry caught the eye of Whitney Houston and Mary Blige. These stars helped to promote his new designs. In 2002, he expanded into watches with the Five Time Zone Collection. This collection combined bold primary colors with multiple time zone technology. His first watch designs featured input from celebrities including Elton John, David Beckham, Bono and Naomi Campbell.
