Two kids from Texas found a big reason to love Arkansas…a 2.2-carat big reason! Grace and Garrett Duncan discovered this champagne diamond at “Crater of Diamonds State Park.” The park has 37.5 acres of land for uncovering these raw wonders, and policy is whatever you find, you keep. Lucky kids! These twins aren’t the only ones to find a diamond at the world’s only diamond bearing site open to the public. On average, two diamonds are found there every day! Since the park was opened in 1906, over 75,000 diamonds have been unearthed there. The largest, a 40.23-carat rock, called Uncle Sam, was found at Crater of Diamonds and to this day is the largest diamond ever unearthed in the United States
