| New York City has named its “Cabbie of the Year.” Hossam Abdalla, a 30 year old Egyptian immigrant cab driver was honored on Wednesday, March 29 for returning a briefcase that was left in his cab. This wasn’t any ordinary briefcase though. It contained over $1 million in gold, titanium and diamond rings. A good cab driver might be hard to come by, but one who will go that extra mile to return lost property is a real ‘gem’.
