I was looking for an engagement ring that was different and unique, but I wasn`t sure what. When I cam across images of tension set rings online i immediately knew I found what i was looking for. I love the way the diamond seems to float in the air and shines from all angles , including the bottom.I did research online about what to look for and i learned that because there`s nothing but the tension of the design to hold the diamond in shape, it`s really important to buy the ring from a reputable seller . cheaply made rings won`t stand the test of time. I was also impressed by the face that well made tension set rings don`t require maintenance because they don`t have the parts that would normally get damaged or worn. I chose james allen because of the good price and return policy. Even though money wasn`t an issue for me, paying a fair price was still important. I almost went for another ring at a different store, but the return policy was only 10 days versus 60 days for james allen.I wasn`t planning on returning the ring but the great return policy gave me peace of mind. Part of me felt i really needed to wear the ring and test it out before I could truly love it. I wasn`t sure about what diamond to choose and the customer service lady helped me decide on a .60 princess cut. I decided that clarity was more important to me than carat size. The ring is spectacular and exceeded all my expectations. I was very happy I went with the .60 princess cut the woman recommended. Because of the nontraditional style of the ring you kind of really have to see it on yourself before you really get the feel of what it looks like, even though the pictures on the site were incredible. The ring is worth every penny we paid for it. I will recommend james allen to anyone I can.
