Engaged And Lovin It

I purchased the 18K white gold Bow Tie Channel Set Brilliant Diamond engagement ring with a 1.2 carat H/Ideal/VS1 and just received it today. It`s simply stunning! In the sun. The diamond`s facets reflect light onto everything around it like a disco ball. I cannot wait to propose to my soon-to-be fiance as she will be thrilled. I chose James Allen over Blue Nile thanks to their excellent website, virtual loupe allowing you to see the actual diamond up close, ratings, and customer service (thanks Eileen). Their selection of settings is wide and elegant. The overnight fedex shipping worked out great. All documentation was included, appraisal, receipt, GIA cert, etc. I`ll definately be back to James Allen for anniversary gifts thanks to the wonderful shopping experience. My only small suggestion is to bring back the wood jewelry box I saw on some websites reviewing James Allen. The one it comes with is better than other retailers, but could still be fancier. Maybe an optional upgrade to the order? 10 out of 5 stars!!

Easy Online purchase! I was hesitant buying a ring online without seeing it first, but all the local jewelry stores I went to around my area were way overpriced. I was crazy about this ring when I saw it. I love the shape of the band, it`s so unique and the channel-set diamonds give it some serious sparkle. I decided on an asscher cut diamond as the center diamond and it really compliments the shape of the ring well. I`m elated!

This ring is so beautiful! I love that it is gold as opposed to platinum. Platinum rings often look dull and I find that the golden color makes the ring look extra striking. My finace got me a .97 carat diamond. I would`ve liked a center diamond that was a bit bigger, but the small diamonds on the sides it make up for it.
