Like most people, I was a little nervous about purchasing an engagement ring online. However, I did an extensive amount of research, both online and in brick-and-mortar stores. You cannot beat the online prices, especially at James Allen! I found exactly what I was looking for. The ability to see the actual diamond before making the purchase really sold me! The staff were fantastic in taking all of my questions and giving me sound advice. When the ring finally came, I was blown away! I recently proposed and my fiance cannot stop looking at her hand! She loves it! I had it appraised by an independent appraiser who gave it a value nearly 2x what I paid for it. I am completely satisfied with the whole process! I got the distinct feeling he was actually trying to help me make the best choice rather than sell something to me. Thank heavens there are still companies like this out there who know how to treat their customers. The ring came with the GIA certificate in a beautiful wooden box. I was a little nervous about buying a high cost item like a diamond ring over the Internet but I can assure you, these guys are both trustworthy and professional. My fiance got this set for me with a 1.12 carat Princess cut. The whole set is beautiful. I constantly have people asking me where I got it because they have never seen anything HALF as beautiful in stores!!!! There isn't a light it doesnt look great in. This same ring and diamond in a mall store would have cost us 4 times as much! and wouldnt of been half as nice Thank you so much!

I purchased a pearl/diamond necklace for my fiance to wear at our upcoming wedding. I was a bit nervous to buy one on online, but when it arrived we were pleasently suprised. The quality was wonderful, especially for the price. Then when we recieved the appraisal in the mail we were even more suprised. The necklace was appraised at more then twice what I spent on it. Quality, customer service, design options, price are all better than competitors, and HOLYCRAP are they better than the mall. I found a similar quality diamond / ring at a competitor and it was 3k more. The SI1 diamond I bought is amazing, the mall would sell it is as a VS1 (or think its fake because it doesn't have giant inclusions in it). Everyone we have talked to about the ring has heard glowing praise of James Allen - I could not have been more pleased.
