My fiance got this set for me with a 1.12 carat Princess cut. The whole set is beautiful. I constantly have people asking me where I got it because they have never seen anything HALF as beautiful in stores!!!! There isn't a light it doesnt look great in. I did a lot of research and after realizing that James Allen's pricing was in line with a lot of e-tailers, what really got me through the process was dealing with Dave to help me through the process. I went through a lot of diamonds, and since I bought a round diamond I had found that the C that makes it most appealing is the 'cut'. Dave looked at the diamond I chose and based on its proportions and cut, said it was a perfect diamond for the ring. The setting is beautiful, and I opted for white gold because it is shinier and more durable than platinum, and really accentuates the diamond set in the middle.I have had a good experience, especially after doing research for a few months before purchasing. I visited countless jewelers and none could come close on price, and the e-tailers I did visit were not as helpful as Dave at James Allen was for me. My fiance has been comparing her ring to other girls she knows, and hers is always the shiniest. It was important to me to make sure that her ring shined more than any others, and while the other girls diamonds might be bigger... the cut and proporition of this diamond get this ring a substantial amount of attention from women whose husbands and fiancees spent a lot more than I did. And I am glad to see her happy too... James Allen made it a reality, and helped me make an investment in the girl of my dreams.We are both really happy, and James Allen and Dave in particular, were essential in our great satisfaction with our future plans.

I did quite a bit of looking around at diamond wholesalers on both the East and West Coasts.  I saw hundreds of diamonds and none of them beat the price and quality that I found at your company.  Josh, the sales associate with whom I worked, was very helpful and contentious in helping me select a diamond and he made a perfect recommendation.  I took my diamond to a posh retailer in the Boston area and the jeweler said that it was a perfect diamond, "absolutely stunning" (I agree, especially after looking at it through a jeweler's loop).  When I told him how much I paid, he said, "You much know someone in the business to get such a good price."  I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I recommend you to everyone!  Thank you,

Darin, Thank you for your email. So far, I have been delighted with the service received to date. I received the loose diamond today...as expected. Before the 10:30 AM delivery time. Very nice presentation box – very impressive. I wasn’t expecting an H&A viewer, but this was a nice touch also. The stone is beautiful. I went for quality, not size. I am not sure I am going to have the stone independently appraised, because you have fully earned my trust by your service. I had many options – I could have travelled to NYC to buy the diamond myself. I used to live in New York and know the city and the culture quite well. I actually look a little like your typical Diamond District jeweler! But it looks like I found a good and trustworthy agent to shop for me! Regarding options. I searched many online jewelers and some of my favorite local ones for a loose stone. But one of the reasons I went with James Allen was a conversation I had with a young lady in your Frederick office. I explained to her how I did work for the National Cancer Institute at Ft. Detrick. I asked her if she saw the 6 story building with the blacked out windows. Your coworker explained that you had an office on 14th Ave, so I presumed your gemologist just took a cab to the Diamond District. Well if the diamond ring is anything like your staff's customer service I know I (and more importantly my girlfriend) will be very impressed. 90 days ago I knew very little about diamonds or diamond rings. After talking with my local jeweler and then doing research online, I still knew very little. It was not until I talked with Jennifer first and then with Dave that I felt comfortable with where I was headed. All three of you did an excellent/no pressure job in selection, and later in working with a rather tight budget. I am wholly confident that the product will meet or exceed my expectations.
