We would recommend James Allen to anyone! We got exactly what we requested! We bought a loose diamond to have set at our jeweler, who we have been using for the past thirty years! This diamond was set for our eldest son to give to his fiance for her engagement ring! Our jeweler said that he could not beat the excellent price on this diamond. It was everything this company guaranteed it to be. Beautiful!! The service was excellent. It arrived within a couple days from the time we ordered it. I guess what really caught our eye was the name of the company matches our son's first and middle name so we thought it would be great and it was. Being able to design your own ring with loose diamonds and different settings was perfect and no pressure with a salesman standing right over you!!!!!!!

Hi Josh, My search for a diamond engagement ring has mostly consisted of trying to sift through all kinds of data predictive of a well-performing stone. Its quite a different experience when you actually see a beautifully cut diamond in person for the first time. This was especially true for me, having not really browsed brick and mortar stores for diamonds, and not really knowing what to expect. I chose James Allen based on the glowing customer reviews and I can now add my own. This company deserves 5 stars. I called one of their associates and he was both knowledgeable and helpful. I got the distinct feeling he was actually trying to help me make the best choice rather than sell something to me. Thank heavens there are still companies like this out there who know how to treat their customers. The ring came with the GIA certificate in a beautiful wooden box. I was a little nervous about buying a high cost item like a diamond ring over the Internet but I can assure you, these guys are both trustworthy and professional. James Allen provided a well-stocked database of loose diamonds to browse through. Many of the diamonds contained magnified images of the exact diamond up for sale. After chosing the ring style and diamond I desired James Allen services promptly produced and shipped the ring. When I opened the package I was relieved and very impressed with the entire package... but especially the ring. Very beautiful. All of that and the best prices I could find.

My experience with James Allen was flawless. I was shopping for a diamond to have set locally with my own design. Searching for the diamond was easy and hassle free. I liked having a broad range of shapes, sizes, cuts, colors and clarity. The problem for me with shopping local brick and mortar for the stone was that I felt restricted to the 5 stones they have in house and the other 10 they would be willing to show me once they got them in, which took days. James Allen was attractive because it was easy and stress free. Taking the plunge was stress free because the customer service was top notch, getting me grading reports and pictures of various stones. I got a good deal and the ring looked amazing. I would like to thank you for such a great diamond and a great staff that helped me through the process. My husband and I have been married for 14 years. Recently, I lost my original diamond and have been looking for a replacement for about a year. The jewelers around our area are very high priced, with a very limited inventory on quality GIA or AGS certified diamonds. We have been looking on line for a diamond which are more affordable and a better selection but you can't visualize the actual diamond. When I found your website, I was incredibly excited. Your staff was extremely helpful. Everyone I spoke to took their time with me and helped me. They helped me so much with my choice. I exchanged a beautiful smaller diamond for a bigger one without any problem. The first diamond was great but as my husband and I talked we decided we could afford a larger stone without compromising the quality. I was having a difficult time deciding what diamond to choose and your staff really helped me make that choice and it was the perfect choice.

In my view, the JamesAllen website is the state of the art for diamond selection-- superior in many respects to in-person shopping. The web site's extensive sorting capacity (by all significant variables), digital photographs of the actual stones and certifications and the "virtual loupe" which allows you to examine the diamond under magnification, make it a superior and safe way (arguably one of the best ways) to buy diamonds. The ability to also create customized settings for the diamond purchase and have the finished product delivered to you by fast, discreet and safe means is first rate. Finally, the human customer service provided both during and after the sale was fabulous -- attentive, courteous, professional and appropriate to what one would expect with a significant purchase.
