After doing a lot of online searching for the perfect stone, I found a listing on James Allen's site, that included a picture of the stone that seemed like it was exactly what I was looking for!I phoned the 1800 number, and initially talked to Heather, who was very quick to get me information regarding have the stone sent to an appraiser prior to purchase. However, I decided to just take the leap and buy the stone, knowing that with their 30 day return policy, if it didn't appraise as I hoped, I could send it back.When I phoned back to purchase it, unfortunately Heather was away on a holiday, so I had Dave helping me. The purchase went very smoothly, and the stone was waiting at the nearest Fed Ex station within 2 days of them receiving my wire transfer.The stone was outstanding and appraised for more than TWICE what we paid for!Thanks James Allen, Dave and Heather!

We would recommend James Allen to anyone! We got exactly what we requested! We bought a loose diamond to have set at our jeweler, who we have been using for the past thirty years! This diamond was set for our eldest son to give to his fiance for her engagement ring! Our jeweler said that he could not beat the excellent price on this diamond. It was everything this company guaranteed it to be. Beautiful!! The service was excellent. It arrived within a couple days from the time we ordered it. I guess what really caught our eye was the name of the company matches our son's first and middle name so we thought it would be great and it was. Being able to design your own ring with loose diamonds and different settings was perfect and no pressure with a salesman standing right over you!!!!!!!

I have not had a chance until now to email you about the engagement ring that I had purchased from you. It arrived this past President's Day . The stone and ring were just as you had described them and they are stunning! My fianc?e cannot help but look at her hand every 5 minutes. Indoor fluorescent, outdoor diffused, outdoor direct light, it does not matter, the stone is bright and full of fire and flash. The setting is also elegant and we are both happy that we went with the 4-prong solitaire instead of the setting with the side stones. After substantial research that included both other internet retailers and bricks & mortar stores where I work (Boston and New York), I decided to purchase a large diamond and ring setting from JamesAllen.com. In my view, the JamesAllen website is the state of the art for diamond selection-- superior in many respects to in-person shopping. The web site's extensive sorting capacity (by all significant variables), digital photographs of the actual stones and certifications and the "virtual loupe" which allows you to examine the diamond under magnification, make it a superior and safe way (arguably one of the best ways) to buy diamonds. The ability to also create customized settings for the diamond purchase and have the finished product delivered to you by fast, discreet and safe means is first rate. Finally, the human customer service provided both during and after the sale was fabulous -- attentive, courteous, professional and appropriate to what one would expect with a significant purchase. JamesAllen is in my opinion a first-rate, world class jeweler and I recommend them without reservation.

Just wanted to drop a line to say that my ring arrived this morning.  That was a very fast turn around time.  Thanks for the expedient service!  I would like to say that the ring is amazing!  I'm sure you hear that from most of your purchasers but I am truly surprised at how beautiful the ring is.  The petite square cathedral setting is also perfect.  I am extremely happy with my purchase, but the thing that made me even happier was the appraisal that was sent with the ring.  My purchase price was $7180 for the signature princess 1.21 F VS1 stone and platinum cathedral setting, yet the jeweler appraised the ring for $12,250!  Wow.  Anyhow, thanks again for the great purchase and the friendly service.

The diamond arrived this morning and I couldn't be more pleased! This stone is fabulous!...and I don't even mean it as "it's fabulous for an I1", no... it's simply fabulous! I have an AGS graded SI2 and can't see the feather in it from 6" away. I louped this little beauty for close to a minute before I finally saw the main inclusion and even now, I can't see it with the naked eye. The arrows are perfect and it has remarkable fire. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm quite chuffed with myself for having spotted this diamond in your extensive database. And of course, many thanks to you for your prompt attention and great communication! It's now my third purchase from JA and I reckon it's definitely not the last.
