I purchased my fiance's engagement ring from James Allen and could not have been more pleased with it or the service I received. I decided to purchase her wedding band from them as well. I originally ordered the wrong ring for the wedding band. It was a very close match to her engagement ring, but not the exactly the same. I called them and they were so helpful and got the correct ring shipped out to me in a very short time period and in time for the wedding. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and family. I proposed to my wife last April after finally managing to find the right stone, after months of looking.  That she is now my wife should be proof that she did say "yes."  I meant to write you folks a note of thanks long ago but I'm essentially very lazy and other things just kept getting in my way until I had forgotten about it altogether. That is, until this morning.  I had made an appointment with Jim hoping for an opportunity to compare stones and was grateful for your willingness to allow me to come into your office to do so.  What I could not have hoped for was the time that Jim patiently spent with me, helping me find a few stones to compare from among which to select mine, and educating me on the subtle differences that one would not be able to notice by educating ones-self on the internet (as I had).  He showed me each stone from a few angles under a microscope and in different lights, explaining the significance of each different view.  After an hour or so of my taking what I am sure was a painfully long time to make a decision I was down to two identical stones.  The last thing I could think to do was to bring them both outside and see them in the sun one last time. Jim, as graciously as I’ve ever seen a salesman behave in my life, invited me to take all the time I needed while he attended to other business.  I stepped outside on my own (feeling rather like a thief with two stones that were not mine) and waited anxiously for some clouds to pass.  When they did one of the stones instantly shone like the heart of a star.  At last my decision was made.  After an experience like this how can I ever be expected to buy anything from a regular jewelry store again?  A friend of mine is thinking of getting his wife an anniversary gift and this morning he remembered me fawning about how fairly-priced, friendly, and (above all) helpful the company I had dealt with in finding my engagement stone had been and wondered if I remembered who it was.  I enthusiastically sent him your website and was reminded, just by stopping by the site, what a huge help you had been.   I was reminded also of the countless times my wife has gotten comments of admiration of the beauty of her ring; the countless times she and some other acquaintance have been vainly comparing stones and finding that my wife's has been of far better quality for a far better price.  Most happily I remember the countless times I catch her just staring into her freshly cleaned ring with a pretty, little smile.  Thank you and again thank you for helping so much to make this last batch of memories possible.

The ring is beautiful, thank you for the great recommendation. It truly is a perfect stone (it sparkles like non-other), and far exceeded my expectations, let alone my newly wife to be's. Being the typical dragging my heals guy I sat on popping the question for a few weeks, but she yes (of course)! I'd like to say thank you for your help with the whole process. She couldn't have been more surprised. I'd also like to reiterate the fact that James Allen had the best prices around. Hi Ashley! I FINALLY got my rings yesterday. WOW!! ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! My husband surprised me last night, had a baby sitter lined up for our daughters Georgia 9 and Brianna 7, and took me to a local spot with a Gazebo. He had help and already waiting in the gazebo was 14 long stem roses (1 for each year we've been married), a CD player with our wedding song ready to play, and down on one knee re-committing his love for me as he placed my new rings on my finger. (That was the first I was seeing them) It was so romantic and a beautiful night together, followed by dinner. I just want to thank you again! I know I already have, but thanks for all your help. This french pave wedding band was my second purchase from the friendly folks at JamesAllen.com . Some things of note: I had a frightening bump with a credit card not going through, but their candor was professional and positive; they didn't make me feel silly or poor (of which, I am both). The ring, like the last one, was perfectly done. And, the diamonds were scintillant, of course. I'll always make JamesAllen.com my first stop for ring shopping. I've actually already convinced a friend away from a competitor to JamesAllen upon my recommendation of JamesAllen's comparable diamond price and better ring selection. Hope this helps your search.

WOW!!!! The diamond is fantastic! I saw it last night and couldn't control my self from giving it to my wife right then! It's even bigger than I hoped and you have to look really hard from the pavilion side even to see the wisps! It's FANTASTIC!!!! Compared it to my mother in laws 2.12 E SI1 and I think it's way nicer! You can't see any color difference between hers in the setting and in the tension setting!!!! You have a customer for life! I think I've even converted my father in law who was pretty skeptical of the internet diamond idea...they're all so impressed!!!! Thanks again for everything!!!

I am writing to thank you for everything that you and the rest of your staff has done on behalf of James Allen Diamonds, Inc. I have not actually received my ring yet, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed that it will get here tomorrow. While I am certainly not your top sale of the week, your staff has always been attentive to my calls, emails, and lots of questions. I have never felt like my daily calls and emails have been bothersome. The ring was supposed to ship from the jeweler yesterday and I was informed yesterday that the original ring that I ordered was not in stock and a Friday delivery would not be possible. Your staff was diligent in getting in touch with your jeweler to find a solution. I was placed in touch with the designer directly which I am sure saved a lot of time and made things much easier for everyone. I truly appreciate this. The designer helped me pick out another setting and has promised that he would have the diamond set by this morning and ship overnight so that I will receive it on Friday morning. The engagement can go on as planned!!! I have been planning the engagement for a while now and want you to know that your company is a HUGE part in it. I have never felt more comfortable about making such a big purchase. After much research and reviews about you, I felt that I had found a winner. I talked to several other online vendors and never felt the comfort that I felt when talking with you and the rest of your staff. I believe that you have setup a great company that has the consumer in mind, not just your bottom line. I would also like to explain why your company is playing such a huge roll in the engagement and why time is so critical. My girlfriend lost her mother to cancer just about a month ago. Her parent’s anniversary would have been this weekend. To top off the situation, she has just had some surgery. To put it mildly, life has not been very normal lately around her house. As this Friday is the eve of her parent’s anniversary (a marriage that was so full of love it just made everyone sick), I hope that this will be a very memorable and special night and many ways. I wanted to thank you for your help on the engagement ring I purchased last year. If you don't remember, I had the ring sized at a local jeweler and they discolored one of the smaller diamonds. I sent it back to you, and while sizing it again, it broke, and you then made a new ring for us. Just wanted to let you know that I got my diamond set today in a platinum, lucida style setting.  I got my local jeweler down to a good price, they even let me watch the jeweler set my stone and resize it.  The ring is gorgeous, and I can hardly wait until it is actually mine!  (He still has to propose!)  I would highly recommend you to anyone, the diamond is exactly as you described, and with it being a .71 carat, VVS1 / F color, it is way better than anything else that I could have found locally!  I couldn't have found a diamond of half that quality for the price you gave me!  Once again, thank you so very much!  You and Josh were extremely helpful and caring, and I would be willing to recommend you to anyone, and if you want me to write up a testimonial, I will!  Thanks again!

Like most people, I was a little nervous about purchasing an engagement ring online. However, I did an extensive amount of research, both online and in brick-and-mortar stores. You cannot beat the online prices, especially at James Allen! I found exactly what I was looking for. The ability to see the actual diamond before making the purchase really sold me! The staff were fantastic in taking all of my questions and giving me sound advice. When the ring finally came, I was blown away! I recently proposed and my fiance cannot stop looking at her hand! She loves it! I had it appraised by an independent appraiser who gave it a value nearly 2x what I paid for it. I am completely satisfied with the whole process! I just wanted to say that I just received my ring in and it is fabulous. The staff at your company was top notch. Jennifer for my initial conversation and setting me up with an appointment with Jim.  Josh for follow up info and Jim for taking time out of his obviously busy schedule to walk me through several diamonds in the inventory until I found the one that I was happy with. A .72 VS1 (J) Round.  The follow up on getting it set into the band was also handled quickly and arrived as promised looking perfect.  As this was my first diamond purchase I was a bit nervous, but the folks at your company put me at ease and I will have no problems using their services in the future.

I just wanted to send you a note thanking you for being such a great company with such great people.  After much (MUCH!) research I purchased a stone and setting from your company and Jennifer Norbury was extremely helpful.  I was in a time crunch since I was leaving for vacation and wanted to pop the question while on vacation.  Jennifer consulted with the jeweler regarding the rush timing to build the ring and sure enough, it got there exactly when she said it would and I couldn't have been happier with the stone and setting.  However, the best part was still to come.  When I brought it in to an appraiser today, he said it actually graded out 2 levels better on the colorscope than the GIA cert.  That being said he of course couldn't change the grade, but even with the GIA grade, he gave it a retail value of 155% of what I paid for the ring!!!  Unbelievable value, amazing customer service and I will be HIGHLY recommending your company to everyone!!
